The Naked Garden Chocolaterie was inspired by naturists, a group of earth-loving people who just happen to spend a lot of time in the nude. The goal was to create a brand that spoke loudly to these climate warriors, that is, people who carefully decide what products to buy based on the environmental impact. While the colour palette was informed by nature allowing the product to be easily recognised by eco-minded shoppers, the typography and brand voice are playful to keep it from feeling too serious.
The brand was centered around the concept of zero-waste, a near necessity for this target market. Naked Garden packaging is made from a special eco-friendly material embedded with wildflower or herb seeds! The wrapper can be planted in a garden and with a little love and care, grow into plants. The idea drove the copywriting and naming phase, and informed the overall visual result.
